Water. The most essential of all nutrients. We can’t live without it. So why is it so important? And past that, why is alkaline water, like Essence pH10, so beneficial for us?

- Café Breaks Pudding (flavor of your choice)
- Purchase pack of Café Breaks pudding in the flavor of your choice (they come in packs of 4)
- Pour pudding into popsicle mold (plastic popsicle mold, paper/plastic cup)
- Insert popsicle stick into center of each pudding container
- Freeze for 4 hours or until frozen/firm
- Remove from popsicle container

Have you ever heard the statement “abs are made in the kitchen” and wondered what that meant? You’re not alone. The point behind that sentence is that you have to eat well in order for your muscles to show. If you eat junk, then you’ll have too much body fat covering up the muscles that you work so hard for in the gym. You can’t out-work a bad diet. Trust me.

That being said, I’ve been trying out different recipes that incorporate protein powder in them. Extra points for recipes that taste like dessert. The first recipe I tried out was the Triple Chocolate Protein Muffins! And man, oh man, they were AMAZING!
My second recipe, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Bites, was a hit as well! I found this recipe on Popsugar and knew I’d love it. I used Walmart’s Purely Inspired Chocolate protein powder (which is a gluten-free, 100% plant-based, protein powder!! Woot woot!). You can get this protein at Walmart! These are low fat protein balls…. and they’re clean eating protein balls!

Protein Ball Recipe
Peanut Butter Chocolate-Chip Protein Bites
A sweet, protein-packed treat!
- 1/3 cup natural peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 scoop of Purely Inspired Chocolate Protein (can be purchased at Walmart!)
- 3 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 3 tablespoons dark chocolate chips
- Mix ingredients in a bowl
- Roll into 10 balls
- Refrigerate until firm
